Czechia — Regional Market index
The Czechia regional market index lists the 27 Czech markets that meet the co-location system's composition gates. It is the most tightly bounded country entry in the European set: every Czech market sits within 101 kilometres of its metropolitan reference point, and none exceeds that.
Coverage
No rank or score is published for any market in this table. Every market below qualifies under the framework's Regional Market composition gate — a hypermarket anchor paired with at least two of {hardware, price club, lifestyle, electronics, sport} across the market's co-location clusters. Full methodology: Regional Markets Intelligence System.
The metropolitan reference point recorded for each market is the nearest major metropolitan centre in the framework's continental reference set — a straight-line (crow-flies) distance measurement, not a drive-time or commuting estimate. It is not a claim that the market functions as a commuter suburb of that centre. Nineteen of Czechia's 27 reference points sit within the country — Brno for eight entries, Prague for seven, and Plzeň for four. The remaining eight cross a border: five to Gliwice, Poland, two to Dresden, Germany, and one to Linz, Austria. The Gliwice group is concentrated in the Moravian-Silesian region along the Polish frontier. Czechia's median reference distance is 64 kilometres and 23 of its 27 markets sit within 80 kilometres of their reference point.
Catchment population is recorded for 13 of the 27 Czech markets in the current dataset build, and absent for the rest. Consumer-spend coverage matches it market for market. These are disclosed gaps in the underlying source data; a market without a figure is stated as such rather than presented as zero.
Cluster composition
The 27 markets carry 36 co-location clusters between them — 21 Tier 1, one Tier 2, and 14 Tier 3. Twenty-one of the 27 carry at least one Tier 1 cluster, and five qualify on Tier 3 clusters alone — the highest count of Tier 3-only markets of any country in the European set after Italy.
