north of Oxford in South East England. Banbury, where the district council is based, and
Bicester are the primary towns; Kidlington is cited as a contender for the largest village in
England. The northern half of the district features gently rolling hills toward the River
Cherwell, while the southern area around Bicester is notably flatter, with the northwest
